9/11(FRI)Information Session for “Artificial Intelligence for Medicine and Life Sciences”

Prior to the start of the ‘Artificial Intelligence for Medicine and Life Sciences’ course (Fall/Winter Semester), we will hold an orientation session for doctoral students. Advances in AI are opening up new frontiers in science and paving the way for the next generation of healthcare. However, the use of AI in medicine also presents challenges, such as data bias, privacy protection and accountability.
With the aim of ensuring safe coexistence with AI in the future, this course will provide a systematic study of foundational mathematical, data science and AI concepts, as well as the ethical, legal and social challenges that underpin them. We warmly invite doctoral students from the Graduate School of Medicine, as well as physicians, faculty, staff and researchers interested in this field, to attend.
