Drs. Takashi Yoshino, Katsuhiko Hayashi and their research group discovered reconstitution of sex determination and the testicular niche using mouse pluripotent stem cells. This research achievement may lead to foundation for extending germline reconstruction to other mammalian species. In addtion, this study implies development of fertility treatment in the future.
