4th WPI-PRIMe International Symposium

We are pleased to announce the 4th WPI-PRIMe International Symposium, titled “AI and Metaverse in Biomedical Innovation”. This event will be held at Nakanoshima Center, The University of Osaka, Japan on February 6th, 2026. This year’s symposium will focus on cutting-edge developments in AI, digital twins, metaverse technologies, and ethical issues in biomedical applications, bringing together leading experts from academia and industry.

We are honored to welcome our keynote speakers, Dr. Hiroaki Kitano from Sony Computer Science Laboratories and Prof. Yuichiro Yano from Juntendo University Graduate School of Medicine AI Incubation Farm.

The symposium agenda explores how AI transforms science, medicine, and the metaverse, and concludes with discussions on ethical and collaborative human–AI coexistence.
