Deveopment of multi-zonal liver organoids from human pluripotent stem cells
PRIMe Deputy Director Prof. Takanori Takebe and his research group acheived in creating multi-zonal liver organoids from human iPSC. This study leads the medical treatment for liver diseases one step closer to culturing patient’s own liver replacement tissue instead of liver transplantation.
