11th WPI-PRIMe Omnibus Seminar
X
14th IPR x WPI-PRIMe BioSim Talks
This is an announcement for the upcoming Omnibus Seminar in WPI-PRIMe. The 11th Omnibus Seminar will be presented by Dr. Marco Ruscone from Barcelona Supercomputing Center, Life Science Department.Dr. Rucone focuses on developing multiscale models for cancer, employing a hybrid approach combining agent-based modelling techniques and stochastic simulations on Boolean networks. This talk presents PhysiBoSS-based models for cancer biology, including cell cycle regulation, invasion, and T cell differentiation. This invasion model reproduces findings from in vitro experiments, offering insights into EMT and diverse invasion patterns.
This seminar is also the 14th BioSim Talks, a seminar series co-hosted by WPI-PRIMe and IPR. We highly appreciate your active participation.
