On June 13 2024(EDT time)、WPI-PRIMe researchers presented their research overview and current research results in ”Science in Japan” Forum, hosted by JSPS (Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science). This forum started in 1996, led by the then Director Dr. Masatoshi Koshiba, who won the Nobel Prize in Physics (2002). This year was the 27th Forum.

The Forum kicked off by WPI-PRIMe Director Nishida Kohji’s Keynote Speech, followed by Takanori Takebe (PI), Takahiro Nemoto (PI), Elisa Domínguez-Hüttinger (PI) and Nozomu Yachie (PI). After their sessions, the panel discussion was moderated by Kazuhiro Sakurada Specially Appointed Professor of WPI-PRIMe.

This half day hybrid forum was joined by participants from onsite and online from the globe, and the whole session was closed in a warm atmosphere.
