Biodigital Twin of Heart, Wearable, Implantable Devices and AI/ICT for Prediction of Heart Attack, Neuromodulation Therapy

invented the wearable device hitoe® ,neuro-cardiac implant electrodes, Tensor cardiography®. Using these devices, machine learning, and medical ICT platform to develop 1.biodigital twin of the heart, 2.devices for detecting signs of heart attack and 3. neuromodulatory therapy of heart disease.

Research Outline

1.Invention of textile bioelectrode “hitoe” which is low noise and biocompatible bioelectrode made of fabric composite of nanofibers and conductive polymer PEDOTPSS. World‘s first practical application of wearable electrodes for Holter ECG for continuous measurement for more than 2 weeks. This material also used for detection of biomedical signals EMG EEG and stimulation using novel wearable-type and implant-type bioelectrodes for neuromodulation therapy 1,2.

2.Invention of “Tensor cardiography” A New Analysis Method of ECG by Graph Signal Processing and Point Process in order to estimate abnormalities in myocardial action potentials from ECG distortions 3.

3.Research on stem cell transplantation and gene therapy for the treatment of spinal cord injury and Alzheimer’s disease4,5.
