Research Outline
My research interests focus on developing novel image processing and analysis algorithms for digital images acquired from various state-of-the-art equipment in life science. Recently, I have worked on AI-assisted diagnosis for gastrointestinal endoscopy and the quantitative analysis of intracellular substance morphology and phenomena.
These interdisciplinary research results were conducted in collaboration with experts in molecular and cell biology, including clinical specialists and corporate researchers. As a researcher in PRIMe, we aim to contribute to understanding various life phenomena from computer science perspective through the construction of biological digital twin based on our accumulated knowledge.
